A valuable book of great wisdom. . I have already purchased more copies to share.
What an interesting book this turned out to be. A real and different perspective on life and aging from dozens of women from different walks of life, different generations and different parts of the country. I learned more than I thought possible. Every woman ought to read this.
I am someone who will turn 60 soon. I really feel like I am 40 but I really got a kick out of this book. It kind of prepares you for what's ahead as far as how people will treat you, how your own kids will treat you, maybe? It is a very funny book filled with wisdom and life struggles. These are very interesting women and a very good read. I would highly recommend it for any age woman. A young woman who we'll know what her mother is going through or grandmother.
Funny, provocative, at times poignant. Anderson has done a lovely job of expressing her experience and integrating It with thirty other authors who are looking at being in their dotage. I am honored to be a member of that group. I hope all who read this charming book on aging in the 21st century will enjoy the laughter and the tears evoked. I hope it stirs up memories and provides connective tissue to all lovely ladies traveling on this path. You are not alone.
